For weeks especially the month of October, the South South states have been impacted by the unprecedented flooding prompted by extreme rainfall.
This submerged homes and farmland and displaced hundreds of thousands of people.
This can be seen particularly in Bayelsa State where loss of lives, assets and means of livelihood to floodings have been recorded.
Road transportation has become impossible due to the heavy flooding that submerged the East West Road linking the states.
